Hannah loves to bowl!! The ball is bigger than her but she manages to throw it down the lane. It does roll very slowly down to the end but she is getting better! She bowled a 59 (with the bumpers) but I thought that was good for a three year old!

Lads To Leaders/Easter

Every Easter weekend we go with our youth group to the Opryland Hotel for the Lads to Leaders Convention. This year we stopped at the Zoo in Nashville on the way. Casey joined us & we had a great time!


Hannah rode halfway to Nashville with my pillow behind her head! It looks uncomfortable, doesn't it?

The zoo is very big & we did a lot of walking. Hannah rode Casey's back for a while.


Jaiden rode in the stroller & chewed her toes!




After the zoo we went to the mall to eat but we were too tired to walk around. Then we checked in the hotel & tried to calm our children down. Things have changed since going to the convention a few years ago. Before children we were out with everyone until late at night but this year we were in bed by 10:00! :)

Saturday Hannah lead a song with the K-2nd grade girls. She was excited when she went in the room. She went to the front to sit with the other little girls. Then she realized that she didn't have a copy of her song. She was so upset so I promised her she would have one when it was time for her to lead her song. Thankfully she can't read so we just got a copy of another song and gave her the paper. It made her happy. She was the last one to go & did a GREAT job. I got a little choked up and couldn't sing. She sang "God Is So Good."


Here she is with another little girl. She talked & talked to the other girls but they were older and didn't really want to listen to her. She didn't care. She kept right on talking.

Unfortunately we missed half of the awards ceremony because we were at Macaroni Grill trying to finish eating. So Hannah missed going on stage with the K-2nd. :(

Sunday morning the Easter bunny came to our hotel room. He left some good treats for both girls.
