Not too much to report from our house. We have been enjoying football season. Even though Auburn is struggling a little bit, I am hopeful we will see some improvement soon! We still pulled out the win Saturday although it was not an oppressive win. We can all thank the defense for winning for us.

Anyway, I ventured into Avon and now I am venturing into the world of making hair bows. I am not great at it but I think I am improving. I tried to take a picture of some of the ones I have done but the battery in my camera went dead. When it charges back up I will post them.

Well since this is such a slow blogging time. I am going to steal Teale's idea and ask everyone who reads my blog to let me know that you read it. I know there are people out of state and country that have come across my website. I am so nosy that it drives me crazy that I don't know who is reading! So let me know who you are, how you found my blog, where you are from and you can ask any me question you want. Although I will reserve the right to remain silent if need be!! :0)

BTW, my first Avon order goes in on Thursday so if you want to place an order you have to do it by Wednesday night.

Thomas story time & Addi & Levi's soccer game

Yesterday we met Kim, Levi, & Lila and Jenni, Ian, & Maddie at a local library for story time. They have it every other week. Yesterday was Thomas the train day. Hannah had a good time. The lady sang songs and told stories. Then they all got up and went around the room as a train. I think we are going to make this a regular activity. It gets us out of the house and it is free! After story time, we went to McDonald's and the kids played for a good 2 & 1/2 hours. They all got along good and Hannah was EXHAUSTED when we got home!

Singing "If you're happy & you know it!" One of Hannah's favorites!

Levi & Ian waiting on story time to begin

The train. Levi was cracking us up by holding onto the boy in front of him so tight. He didn't want to loose the train!

Last night Addi & Levi had their first game. Addi did a GREAT job. She was goalie. Levi wasn't interested in playing. The only time he was on the field was when he went into the goal with Addi. He is so funny! These pictures are terrible. I couldn't get my camera adjusted to a good setting but I think you will enjoy what you can see! :0)

This is the conversation Hannah & I had on the way to the game:

Me: We are going to watch Addi, Levi, & Ian play soccer. You are going to have to stay with mommy and not run off.

Hannah: I wanna play soccer!

Me: No, you can cheer with mommy. You can say "You can do it (the same way I cheer for her to use the potty. Cheesy I know but if it works, it works), Addi." "You can do it, Levi!"

Hannah: I play soccer and you can say "You can do it, Hannah." (Not really this clear but that is what she was saying!)

Histerical! She can come up with some hilarious stuff. Her favorite thing to say lately is "Mommy, I go peep!" This is her version of pee & poop together. I don't care what she calls it as long as she is going and it isn't an ugly word!

Avon Calling!

I have ventured into the world of selling Avon. I thought it would be an easy way to make a little extra money for Christmas and other stuff I would like to have/buy/or pay off! I will have a website in a few days. When it is set up and running I will let you know the address. However if you would like to receive a book from me let me know and I will get one to you.

Hannah has been into EVERYTHING this week. She put her Elmo backpack in the toilet saying she was giving him a bath. The instructions for washing said "surface only" but I felt he needed a hot water washing. So I put him in the washing machine on the gentle cycle and he blew up. I had Elmo stuffing all in my washing machine. Josh said "Elmo had a blow out." So Hannah keeps telling people "Elmo blew out!" I also caught her with her hands and the toilet brush in the toilet yesterday. I don't know what her obsession is with the toilet! She has been trying to learn to potty so we do spend a lot of time in there. She is doing pretty good but we are far from being diaper free! I will not know what to do with myself when that happens! :0)

We had a busy weekend. Friday night was the usual - going out to eat. We ate at the new Logan's in Fultondale. It was very good. Saturday I went to the Kids Market to drop my stuff off. I waited in line for about 45 minutes. Hannah was WONDERFUL!!! I was happy because I wasn't sure how she would act having to sit still so long. I dropped my stuff off and I am now counting down the days until I get to go to the sale. They had a ton of stuff and I think I will get some good deals. Anyway, Saturday night we went with Mark & Shana to our friends David & Melissa's house. We ate dinner and played a few games. Josh, David, & Mark repelled off the huge rock in their back yard. I think Josh found a new love for repelling. We had a great time!! We didn't get to watch the Auburn game. (3rd game I have missed - it is making me crazy!!!) I know Auburn didn't show up to play but I am hopeful that they will this week. LSU will be a tough game but we can do it.
Sunday after morning services we went to the nursing home to see Josh's MaMaw & Papaw. We had cookies for Papaw's birthday. MaMaw was excited to see everyone. I did get a picture of Papaw & Hannah together. I think this is the only picture I have of Hannah with him.

They say you learn something new everyday. Well after I caught Hannah demonstrating her artist abilities with a ink pen and my couch. I learned that hairspray takes ink off a couch! It works wonders. Thank you "Google"! Anyway, here are a few pictures for you to enjoy...

This picture was taken last week. It was Hannah's first attempt to eat corn on the cob!

september 11th Pictures, Images and Photos

I was just thinking about what I was doing 7 years ago today. Obsessed with watching the news, getting every detail of the attack on our country. I was in college and had slept through my morning classes. I woke up and heard them talking on the radio about the attack. What a day of sadness for all American people! I hope we all remember those who lost their loved ones today. I am sure the memorial brings back so many sad memories. Say a prayer for them today!

Things heard on Sunday morning

After Bible class Sunday morning Emily & Rachel (Hannah's teachers) call me into the classroom to tell me about something Hannah did. Fear washes over me. I am thinking of the worst case scenario. They are laughing and said Emily asked the class "How do we talk to God?" Hannah yelled out "FOOTBALL!!" I am not sure why. I promise we do not teach her football is more important than praying! LOL!

Then during the lesson, David asked "do we have trouble with cursing?" My sweet child yells out "Nooo!" I am happy that she doesn't have a problem with cursing! It did get a giggle out of me, though. I will have to say that I am now terrified of what she is going to say next!

Yesterday I went to a consignment sale, Henrietta's Closet. I went last year at the end of the sale and they didn't have much. So I decided to go on the first day this year. I got a few things. The best find where Skecher tennis shoes that looked brand new. I got them for $5! Yippee!! I was excited about that. Most of the stuff was WAY overpriced. I realize people want to make a little money but seriously I am not paying $40 for used clothes! Anyway I am going to put a few things in the Kids Market sale. Then I can shop the early sale in October. Hopefully I will find better deals at this sale!

Pictures from Ladies Day!

We spent two nights at the building getting ready for Ladies Day. It all came together perfectly! We had 74 in attendance and everything was great. Mrs. Fletcher did an excellent job. If you didn't come, you really missed out!

This is a picture of the tables. Aren't they cute?

The "Fab Five" is now the "Sensational Six!"

Look at my little "War Eagle" cutie. Don't you just love this dress? Thank you Daniel & Mandi!

Addi & Hannah having tea!

Pam made chocolate spoons to dip in tea or coffee. We gave them away in a little goody bag. We had several left over and Addi gave Hannah one right before we left to go home. As we are riding down the road I looked back and this is what I saw. I had to snap a pic.

By the time we got home, she was asleep and I took another cute picture of my chocolate princess!

We had a wonderful day! It was also Josh's birthday. He spent the day dove hunting. Most of you know, he loves to hunt. We cooked dinner for him and gave his present to him when he got home. Hannah told him happy birthday about 100 times! The day was made even sweeter because Auburn won. So far, so good. I hope they keep up the winning. Unfortunately I haven't been able to watch an entire game. That is unlike me but the ladies day has kept me busy! Hope everyone has a great week! WAR EAGLE!!!

For all of you who are out there trying to loose weight, check out this link. It tells you how many calories you can burn during the day. I like how it lists laundry and washing dishing! Some of them are kind of humorous. For example, cleaning out an illegal dumpsite! How many of us do that everyday!?
