The results are in...

Seventy percent (14 voters) of you said that we are having a boy and thirty percent (6) voted for girl. Only 30% of you were right. It is a GIRL!!! I tried to scan the pictures but I can't get them to scan right & the video has too much personal info on it to post so you will just have to trust me that she is one of the two most beautiful girls I have ever seen. :0)

Before we left for the ultrasound I got so nervous. I felt so sick to my stomach. The last time I was in an ultrasound room, it was not good news. I was in the same room as the last time and I really wanted to throw up then. However I remained calm and everything turned out perfectly fine. She is growing just right. Her spine, brain & organs look good. She has two legs (thank goodness since I dreamed once that she only had one), two feet, two arms and hands, & little fingers. She is a perfect little princess. She was very busy. If she is that busy all the time, I can't believe that I don't feel her that much. I thought she was a calm baby but it looks like I may have another wild child on my hands. Oh well Hannah is hyper but she is almost always happy.

They calculated my due date based on the growth of our little girl as October 14 but Dr. Hudson said we would keep it as October 11th. He said 3 days difference doesn't make them change the due date. I am guessing she will come closer to October 14th but we shall see. She weighs 12 ounces. She is also breeched right now so I am praying she will turn around in time to be born without a c-section. She has plenty of time to turn so hopefully she will cooperate.

Hannah still isn't sure about this whole thing. She saw the ultrasound and we told her it was a girl but she doesn't fully understand. She picked out a cute little purple elephant at Babies R' Us tonight for her little sister. She has no clue that her world is going to change drastically in about 4 1/2 months. Oh well she will get used to it like we all had to. I wanted to give Kyle away but no one would take him. Go figure! :0) I like that she will have a sister. Every girl needs a sister!

I am going to venture out and say that Hannah is now potty trained!!! YAY!!! I am hoping she doesn't have any setbacks but we will see. She has been doing great. Sometime this week we are going to Build-A-Bear like I promised her we would. She is really excited and says she wants to build a "scary" bear. I am not sure what she has in mind but maybe she will get exactly what she wants. My little baby is growing up before my eyes. I am tearing up just thinking about it! Three years ago I was around 6 months pregnant, feeling her kicking around and now she is running circles around me!

She has quite the imagination lately. She has a new imaginary friend named Linda. Linda seems to be a trouble maker. She yells at Linda to stop doing this or that. She pretended to call her on the phone the other day and told her she needed to clean the floor(she was watching Cinderella at the time). If she is getting in trouble she sometimes tells me Linda did it. Linda also goes everywhere with us lately. She buckled her in the car the other day and sometimes buckles her in the shopping cart next to her. She says Linda is two years old and will be three in August. She also informed me the other day that Linda was at school. She wanted to pick her up and insisted that we go before we left the house. So I told her she was waiting on us at the mailbox and we picked her up there. Hannah also has some very interesting suggestions of names for the baby. She said she wanted to name him/her "Fresha," "Bandit" (this is David & Susan's dog's name), & "Nowhere." I am sure she has said other funny names but those are the only ones I can remember.

She is loving playing on her swing set (when we have been home long enough for her to play). Josh has a boat he is fixing up and she loves to work on it with him. They spend hours in this boat. She gets all of his tools and "helps" him. I need to take a picture of them together because it is really cute.

We spent last week running here and there getting ready for the Graduation Banquet. We had two graduates - Alex & Chris. I remembered my camera but forgot my memory card so I didn't get one picture but I know there were a lot taken. The banquet turned out great. I was really excited and SO THANKFUL for all the hands that helped me. We had about 10 people show up Friday night and got everything decorated and ready to go. So many of the women cooked and gave money for food! It is so wonderful to worship and work with so many giving loving people! God has blessed me with GREAT Christian friends!

Today we spent the day at David & Susan's for Memorial Day. I think about the people especially the mothers who spent the day without their loved ones. I know they are sad but proud all at the same time. Our military men and women give so much so that we can be free. I hope we never forget that, although I fear so many have! So today say a little prayer for the families that are grieving and also say a prayer of thanks to God for His blessings. We are so fortunate and sometimes don't even realize it.

I know this is a very random post! This week we will be busy working on our VBS. Please come if you want to hear great lessons from God's Word. We would love to see you. It starts on Sunday night(the 31st). This week is also exciting because we get to go for our ultrasound. I am hoping the baby will cooperate and let us know if it is a he or she! I am going to put up a poll and you can vote for your guess. I think it will be fun to see how many are right! I will let you know on Friday! You will have to read my blog to find out because I am going to ban anyone else from posting on here, Facebook, or any other technology until I get a chance to let you all know. So stay tuned...

To catch you up on my life, I will blog by bullets.

* Friday (the 8th) was my mom's birthday. My brothers, sister, and their families came over to eat dinner. We had spaghetti and a chocolate cake from Edgar's bakery (YUMMY!). We all had a fun time together. Although we missed Kyle (he had to work). I hope my mom had a great birthday. She deserves the best!

* Saturday Hannah & I went to Clay's ballgame. He did GREAT! That child has been athletic since he was a little thing. We knew he was destined to play sports. After his game, we went with mom & dad to visit Ginger (my sister-in-law who had a car accident ~ she lives in a nursing home).

* We bought Hannah a swing set and it took Josh 3 days to put it together. It is a wooden one with swings, fort, slide, etc. This is her birthday present but she got it early so she will have time to enjoy it this summer.

* Sunday was Mother's Day. I got a beautiful plant but am still trying to decide where I want to plant it. It actually stays in a pot but needs the perfect place. We ate lunch at Paul & Kim's after church. I ended up loosing track of time (and Hannah needed a nap) so I didn't make it to see my mom. (I know, I know) I did call her and remember I made her a birthday dinner. :)

* Tuesday was Clay's (my nephew) 6th birthday! SIX ~ REALLY??!! We went to my mom & dad's house for cake and dinner. Enjoy the pics below.

* Yesterday we had the Lads to Leaders kickoff after morning services. I am really excited about this year and can't wait to get started!

We have been a little bit of here, there, and everywhere in between all of these things. I have been busy planning the graduation banquet, working on VBS stuff, and thinking about our living arrangement. We are going to have to do some major rearranging for the baby. I have decided to move Hannah to the bigger room. It needs to be painted and new furniture. We are working on it but I want her to be in there several months before the baby gets here. I don't want her to think the baby is taking her room (because she won't understand that she has a bigger room).

Hannah is doing great going to the potty. We are almost completely trained! She still has a few accidents but has been wearing only panties during the day!! YAY!!!

The baby is kicking a little stronger. He/she is a little lazy during the day. I only feel a few kicks in the day but I feel him/her a lot when I first lay down at night. I am now 19 weeks and have been terrible about taking pics. I finally remembered last night so here I am at 19 weeks...

The most exciting news is that I saved $80.60 in coupons today at Publix!! GO ME!! The four best deals I got today were 1) a pack of Huggies diapers (66 count) and wipes (60) for $4.36, 2) a four pack of Fiber One yogurt for $.25, 3) four boxes of Ritz crackers and a box of Wheat Thins for $3.75, & 4) they paid me $.25 for a Bic lighter (one that lights a grill)! I am loving all of this coupon stuff and hope I can continue to find time to look for and clip them. Thank you to Frugal Coupon Living and Chicks With Cents! I have found a few deals on my own but I rely on these two websites for most of the deals(and coupons) & to get my mind going! It does take effort but it is worth saving $80! A little tip for all you moms ~ I get all of my coupons gathered up and then cut them when Hannah is in the bathtub. What else am I going to do while I sit there and watch her splash around? She loves the water time and I don't feel like I am wasting mine! Anyway, sorry this is so long. That is what happens when you don't blog for a week!
