I enrolled Hannah in a gymnastics class. It is an hour class one day a week. Her friend Maddie is in the same class. They have both enjoyed it. They have circle time to stretch. They stretch to different songs and Mrs. Wendy makes it fun for them. Then they have a few structured activities & free time to play. Hannah has so much fun and it seems that she loves to swing on the bar. I knew she was a little monkey. She also likes to climb on the parallel bars. I am glad that she has been listening to her teacher because I was nervous that she would want to do her own thing. She has had so much fun and we are going to enjoy the last couple of weeks (they only had 5 weeks left in this session but we thought it would be perfect to try it out before paying for a full 12 weeks). Then we will probably enroll her for another 12 weeks. I will try to take better pictures next time.
Hannah with her BFF Maddie!
That is Hannah on the bar in the back with Mrs. Wendy
She is striking a pose after the class is over. Every time it was free time to play she went straight to this bar and would swing on it. She looks so cute in her little leotard (we got it at the Jr. League yard sale for $.50! I wish we had bought more than one).
Last week after gymnastics class I took Hannah to the ENT. When Jaiden had her 6 month appt. I asked Dr. Walley to look at Hannah's tonsils because I noticed that they were abnormally large. She has maybe an inch between them. She started snoring about 2 months ago. He referred me to an ENT and said to have them checked out because we don't want her to have sleep or obstructive apnea. So we made an appt and took her. The ENT said they needed to come out. He looked in her ears and said that the last ear infection she had in January never fully cleared up. She still had fluid in her ears and he said it was almost a putty substance (sorry I know that is gross). The fluid couldn't drain because of the size of her tonsils and adenoids. He said she probably has about a 30% temporary hearing loss. Anyway we are going on the 21st to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. Plus he will drain the fluid off of her ears. When she wakes up in the morning she usually says she is tired even after a full night's sleep. So it needs to be done but I am nervous about it. I dread it for her but I know she will feel better! Please keep her (and her mommy & daddy) in your prayers.

6 months old
On the 20th of April, Jaiden turned 6 months old. She is growing and changing everyday. She is such a gentle, sweet baby. She loves to rub my face and hair. She likes to sit back and watch the chaos of our home. She takes it all in. She laughs when we laugh and sometimes cries when Hannah cries. She is a lot like Hannah. She is laid back and only gets upset when she is hungry, dirty, or sleepy. She smiles at everyone she sees. What a sweet, sweet blessing she has been to our family!
Some things I want to remember about her at 6 months...
* She laughs out loud and LOVES to be tickled.
* She smiles immediatley after making eye contact with me.
* She rolls to where she wants to go. She has also been army crawling to get what she wants.
* She has gotten on her knees a few times and rocks back & forth.
* She LOVES to eat her baby food and cereal. I haven't found anything she doesn't like.
* She giggles at Hannah all the time.
* She likes to play peek-a-boo.
* She pats everything.
* She loves fabric. She likes to chew on her blankets or my clothes.
* She has finally decided she likes her bath.
* She loves to kick her legs and does it all the time (she kicks her heels in so hard I thought someone was breaking in our house the other day. However it was just the sound of her heels hitting the bed!)
* She can hold her own bottle (see picture below!)
* She is BEAUTIFUL!! She has gorgeous black hair that has a mind of its own. She has gorgeous blue eyes and the most beautiful eyelashes & eyebrows. She has cute little chunky legs!
* She likes to chew on her toes!
* She babbles "ma, ma, ma." (Does this count as her first word? It is just a babble but I am not sure if that counts!)
* She can sit up for a little bit at a time but is too busy to stay there.
* I love her and know that in 6 more months I will love her even more than I do now!

Hannah loves to bowl!! The ball is bigger than her but she manages to throw it down the lane. It does roll very slowly down to the end but she is getting better! She bowled a 59 (with the bumpers) but I thought that was good for a three year old!
Little Miss Blue Eyes hung out in the stroller.
